Privacy Policy

Effective July 8, 2026

Dnyna is a church calendar of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. The app is free, with no ads and no sign-up. We deliberately collect as little about you as possible — only anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, to understand whether everything works and to make the app better. We collect nothing that could personally identify you.

What data we process

The app does not require an account, does not collect your personal data (name, email, phone number, etc.), shows no ads, and does not track you across apps. All of your personal entries — such as the name days of your loved ones — are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.

To display content, the app connects to Google Firebase services. In doing so, only the technical data required to deliver content is processed:

Who processes this data

Technical data is processed by Google LLC through the Firebase platform, acting as our service provider. Processing is governed by the Firebase Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.

Why we do this

The purpose of processing the technical data described above is to deliver your daily content, keep the app running reliably, and improve it based on anonymous statistics. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling of individuals, or selling to third parties; we view analytics only in aggregate.

Data retention

Your personal entries in the app are stored locally on your device until you delete them or the app itself. Technical request data is handled on Google Firebase's side under the retention periods defined by its policies.

Children

The app is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly collect any personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this address, and the effective date is shown at the top of the page.
